WW - Rolex Oyster Perpetual "Spider Web" Submariner, ref 5513, circa 1985, 42mm including crown guards x 47mm to lug tips, 20mm lug width, original stainless steel screw back Oyster case and bi-directional timing bezel, Oyster bracelet with fold over style tuna can clasp and raised Rolex logo, original black glossy "Spider Web" dial with applied white gold indices inset with luminous paint, 26J cal 1520, s#8920076, triple signed with signed clasp, bracelet ref 93150 with 580 end pieces and a J10 date code, inside back ref 5512.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, no oxide, light spotting to rotor edge as well as wear to top edge of plate; nearly flawless "Spider Web" dial with light lume dust present on surface; hands have aged to a slightly lighter color with the lume towards the base of the hands in line with the lume on the dial; unpolished case shows little wear, retains almost all of its original factory finishing, lug chamfers are visible and crisp, typical dings on the backs of the lugs from bracelet wear as well as an edge ding on the bottom right lug; bracelet shows very light wear, very little stretch; original Rolex crown shows little wear, good threads; good crystal; resealed for auction.
